  13.    I run a non-networked PC under PC DOS 7 (to which I switched mostly
  14. because it has a version of REXX), with 4DOS 5.51b as my command
  15. interpreter.  The 4DOS documentation says that REXX is a useful
  16. supplement, largely because it provides string manipulation capabilities
  17. beyond those of 4DOS.

  19.    I've started learning the REXX I've got, but haven't got very far,
  20. mostly because I don't know enough to see where or how I'll get
  21. something useful that I don't already have.

  23.    Does anyone have the time and interest to give me a bit of guidance?
  24. (I've no specific questions, because I don't yet know what questions to
  25. ask!)
